Telehealth THERAPY
What telehealth therapy is
Telehealth therapy, sometimes called teletherapy or telepsychology, is psychotherapy delivered by secure video. Sessions still include the same clinical attention, treatment planning, privacy expectations, and therapeutic relationship as in-person care, while allowing the appointment to happen remotely.
Who telehealth therapy may fit
Telehealth therapy may be appropriate for people seeking support with anxiety, depression, ADHD-related coping, trauma-related concerns, stress, life transitions, emotional regulation, and relationship patterns. It may not be appropriate for every concern, crisis, evaluation need, or situation requiring in-person assessment.
Scheduling, privacy, and technology
Patients receive instructions for joining an appointment and should plan to be in a private location with a reliable internet connection. Availability depends on the patient’s physical location at the time of the appointment, the psychologist’s licensure and/or PSYPACT authorization, and applicable law.
